What is “Food for
During National Library Week, Morrisson-Reeves Library will accept
food for fines owed. One dollar will be credited toward library fines
for each item donated.
What food items
The library requests non-perishable, unopened, non-expired food items.
No glass containers, dented cans, damaged cans, cans with bar codes
that have been lined or scratched through, or home canned items.
When will food
items be accepted?
Beginning Monday, April 9, 2018 and continuing through Saturday, April
What will happen
to the items I donate?
Items will be donated to the Wayne Township Trustee’s Office for local

food for the food drive – but I don’t have a library fine.
Donations will gladly be accepted from citizens who do not have overdue
fines, however, no credit will be given to cover possible future fines.
Payment for lost or damaged library materials will not be eligible
for this program. Also, any fines already in collections will not
be subject to redemption by the “Food for Fines” program.
