Welcome to Morrisson-Reeves Library's Digital Collections site. The Morrisson-Reeves Library Digital Collections are, and will continue to be, under construction. With the exception of the Clarence Morrow Photographs, which have been completely digitized, all other collections will continue to expand as more content is scanned and made available. Additional collections will also be added as time and resources permit. Clarence Morrow Photographs Clarence Morrow was a local carpenter and amateur photographer who took a series of photos of Richmond and surrounding areas in the early 1890s. These photographs came to Morrisson-Reeves in the collection of Harry Golden.

Eugene "Bus" Stegall Richmond Aviation History "Bus" Stegall was a Richmond pilot who was involved in aviation from the 1930s. During World War II he served as a Naval flight instructor, and after the war he continuted to study Richmond's aviation history. After his death in 2004, his family donated his collection to MRL.

Morrisson-Reeves Library History This collection contains a sample of images and booklets pertaining to the history of Morrisson-Reeves Library. For more information about MRL's history, also visit the history tour on the library's web site.

Richmond & Wayne County Postcards This collection of historic postcards primarily documents views of Richmond's prominent buildings, streets and parks, along with a limited number of views from other Wayne County locales.

Singin' Sam Harry Frankel (1888-1948), better known as Singin' Sam the Barbasol Man, lived much of his life in Richmond. In 1951, his widow, Helene "Smiles" Frankel, donated all of his sheet music to Morrisson-Reeves Library, and after her death in 1981, her son donated nearly 300 transcription recordings of his radio programs. This online collection contains not only images from Sam's career but includes audio and video files of some of his performances. The library has cassette recordings of the radio programs available for circulation, and these, as well as the sheet music, may be searched in the library's online catalog. Wayne County Historical Texts This expanding collection will include the full text content of a variety of pamphlets and books related to the history of Wayne County, Indiana.
