one world. one plate. Cultural Celebration at MRL

International Festival Celebrating Food, Culture, Music, and Dance

Held on Saturday, July 22, from 1:00 – 3:00 PM
At Morrisson-Reeves Library (MRL)

Get to know our international community and celebrate the foods and cultures.

One World, One Plate is back by popular demand to celebrate diverse cultures through displays, activities, and food samples. The last celebration was in April of 2019 (pictured in the group photo) where record crowds joined in the festivities.

MRL’s One World, One Plate free program will showcase and uplift the vibrant cultures embedded in our community. It gives participants an opportunity to share their backgrounds and the diverse walks of life they come from. Through storytelling, dance, food, displays, and activities, participants will share fellowship, culture, and pride in themselves and their diversity. We are specifically highlighting Japanese, Mexican, Indian, Peruvian Turkish, and Guatemalan cultures.
