Morrisson-Reeves Library Community Forum at The Reid Center
Morrisson-Reeves Library is at a pivotal moment, and we need your help to shape our future. We’re facing significant issues with our building that necessitate a major renovation. We invite you to join us for our fourth Community Forum. This will be a conversation about the proposed renovation and the need for the library to issue an $18.72 million bond to fund the project. Your participation is needed as we work together to find a solution that will ensure our library remains a safe, accessible, and vital community hub now and into the future.
This event is scheduled for Tuesday, October 28th, from 6 pm to 8 pm at The Reid Center.
What to Expect
The Community Forum will begin with a short presentation by representatives from the Library. They will go into the details of the proposed renovation and address key questions that have been raised at previous meetings, including:
- How the project’s scope was determined.
- The alternatives that were considered.
- The critical issues currently facing the building.
Following the presentation, we will open the floor for a public question-and-answer session. This is your opportunity to ask questions and share your thoughts directly with the Library Board.
