Job Postings for MRL

Position: Library Associate
Service Area: Information Services
Hours: Monday-Thursday 3 pm – 8 pm, Fridays 9 am – 6 pm, and occasional weekend work.

Job Description:
Under the direction of the Information Services Manager, and in harmony with the policies of Morrisson-Reeves Library, the Library Associate will serve as a paraprofessional assisting patrons by performing a variety of services including assisting patrons with research and information needs. The starting rate is $13.50 an hour.

Position: Custodian
Service Area: Building Services
Hours: 6:30 am – 10:30 am, Monday – Friday with a Saturday Rotation

Job Description:
Under the general direction of the Building Services Manager and in harmony with the policies of the Library, the Custodian performs general cleaning of the building and grounds, assists with grounds care, meeting room set-up, assembly and moving furniture and equipment, and provides assistance to staff and others as needed.

Position: Director
Service Area: Entire Library
Hours: FLSA Exempt

Job Description:
Under the direction of the Library Board of Trustees, the Director oversees the daily operations of the Library and exercises authority with regard to personnel, financial management, strategic planning, building management, collection development, library automation and expanding information technologies, purchasing, and community (public) relations. The Director administers all aspects of library services with a high level of independent responsibility and accountability and is in compliance with all applicable laws and policies and decisions of the Library Board.
