Engagement Associate, Engagement Services

Part-time, non-exempt position, 24 hours a week

The Engagement Associate serves as an ambassador for Morrisson-Reeves Library and will contribute to a variety of projects that result in connecting the library with the community and the regions it serves. Many of these endeavors result in face-to-face networking, seeking opportunities to do so, and developing an understanding of targeted audiences’ needs for services and programs that the library can provide.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in networking, marketing, and / or engagement and following leads that results in positive, mutually beneficial community and business partnerships.
  • Experience in public speaking, planning, and facilitating public
  • Significant computer and technology experience
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving This position requires driving / travel.

Flexibility: This position requires flexibility in terms of work hours and responsibilities, especially during peak times or for special events. Many of these events happen in the evenings and on Saturdays. This position qualifies as providing both remote and hybrid opportunities. Position requires a combination of skills, including self-discipline, initiative, and the ability to manage one’s time and tasks independently. It also involves strong communication and the capacity to seek and utilize feedback when needed.

Pay: $13.50 an hour (Wage will change to $15.00 on July 6, 2025)

Benefits: Paid time off, including vacation, sick time and holidays.
