We’re easy to find. 80 North 6th Street in Downtown Richmond.

To register for a library card, a patron 5 years or older or attending school in our service area, must live in the library-taxing district, which includes Abington, Boston, Clay, Dalton, Franklin, Green, Harrison, New Garden, Perry, Wayne and Webster Townships. Applicants must provide current, valid photo identification and proof of address. Photo Identification should be government-issued, typically a Driver License or state-issued ID.

Young Adults and Students may use their school-issued photo identification to establish residency.

If you are a cardholder in good standing at any Wayne County or Evergreen Indiana Library, your Evergreen library card will work at Morrisson-Reeves Library.

A Public Library Access Card (PLAC) can be purchased at MRL to use at any Indiana public library. Contact the library for further details.

First Library Card: Ages 5 - 12

Getting your first library card is an exciting day!  Anyone in our service area five years or older is eligible for a library card. A child must be accompanied by a parent/guardian with ID. Special promotions are offered to kids getting their first card.

Get a Pin Number for your library account

PIN/Password

A PIN (Personal Identification Number) or Password is necessary to access online databases, audiobooks and all downloadable materials. Please stop in the library, email us at library@mrlinfo.org or call us at 966-8291 if you need a PIN/Password or have forgotten your PIN/Password or Library Card number.

Lost Library Card

Contact the library staff to report your lost card. We will place a stop on your current library card and will issue you a new library card. Please contact us at library@mrlinfo.org.

Magazines can be downloaded

Magazines and Newspapers

MRL has a selection of 100 magazines and various newspapers in the library located in the Brown Research Center on the lower level. Read the recent edition in the library or checkout back issues of magazines with your library card.
