Art with Arianna

Come and enjoy a fun art making session at the library at Art with Arianna!

Each art session offers instruction and individualized support for the project. Participants may work at their own pace and may finish before the allotted end time. Art with Arianna sessions are held on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Location

Art with Arianna is located in the Bard Room in the lower level of the library. The Bard Room is handicapped accessible. Once in the building, use our front stairwell or elevator to reach the lower level. If you have accessibility needs, please contact us in advance to discuss accommodations so we can work to best welcome you! 

Upcoming Sessions

Mandala Paintings – April 3, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.

Join us for mandala painting where we will use a variety of tools to make brightly colored patterns of dots on canvas boards. Mandala painting inspires mindful thinking and our in-person programming inspires community and connections. Come create with us!

Mosaic Candle Holders – May 22, 2024 6:00 at p.m.

Come for the creative outlet, leave with a functional decoration! We will be using glass votive candle holders and decorating them with glass mosaic pieces. You will also receive a battery powered votive candle to complete your project. 

Beginners Embroidery – September 25, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.

As the fall weather sets in, come learn a cozy new skill! This program will cover basic stitches, pattern transferring, and embroidering in a hoop. We welcome beginners as well as those looking for a refresher in their stitching skills.

Yarn Pom-pom Wall Hangings – October 23, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.

Learn how to make pom-poms from yarn and then use your new skill to make a decorative wall hanging! We will be using a variety of yarn colors, hot glue guns, and wooden coasters to create these pieces. When finished you will have an impressive decoration for home or office.
