1989 Christmas Ornaments by Local Artists

Step back in time with this unique collection of Christmas ornaments.

These charming ornaments, painted by local artists in 1989, offer a nostalgic glimpse into Richmond’s past. Each ornament depicts an iconic buildings and scenes from around the city.

The ornaments were on display as part of the Artisans Group tree during the 1989 Festival of Trees, a fundraiser for the Richmond Symphony Orchestra. Dr. David Jetmore and Dr. Richard Siebert purchased the ornaments and donated them to Morrisson-Reeves Library.
