Community Forum #3 Reveals Initial Renovation Plans
We’re thrilled to share an update on the exciting renovation project underway at Morrisson-Reeves Library. We held our third Community Forum to unveil the initial floor plans and 3D renderings for the future of your library during Community Forum #3 in the first half of May.
During Community Forum #3, we presented the latest renovation updates. We shared initial floor plans and 3D renderings, offering a first look at the future library. Below is a recap of the design information from the forum.

A Vision Taking Shape
At Community Forum #3, we presented the initial floor plans for both the upper and lower levels of the library. These plans offer a first look at how the renovated spaces will be organized to better serve our community. Accompanying the floor plans were 3D renderings, providing a visual glimpse into the look and feel of the transformed library.
These initial designs are a direct result of the comprehensive planning process, which has been guided by several key objectives:
- Addressing concerns identified in the facilities assessment.
- Prioritizing opportunities to utilize existing building components.
- Identifying and prioritizing community wants and needs.
- Defining staff tasks & workspace requirements.
- Determining the building organization.
- Addressing site needs and connections to the surrounding community.
