Morrisson-Reeves Library’s Building Renovation

In November, 2024, MRL announced that it was beginning a Comprehensive Building Masterplan ahead of an anticipated renovation of its building.

The Building Masterplan will inform decisions regarding:

  • Addressing critical systemic needs
  • Creating a more accessible and inclusive environment
  • Modernizing technological infrastructure
  • Enhancing collaborative and community gathering spaces

Community Forums

The library hosted a series of three Community Forums to keep our patrons in the loop as renovation plans progress. The patrons and the public had the opportunity to share what about the library they value the most and how MRL can improve their experience. Public feedback will be vital in shaping the future of MRL.
